LWVPGH Fall Kickoff - "Passing the Torch - Our Inspirations to Activism"
About this event
Please join us for our Fall Kickoff on Sunday afternoon, September 8th to meet old and new members, find ways to get involved, and learn what motivates our members. Several members from different generations will tell the stories of the events, issues, and people that inspired them to work for change.
LWVPGH board members and project leaders will be available to explain their work and how you can get involved. Light refreshments will be served.
The event will be held at the Spartan Community Center in Hazelwood, which is accessible by PRT bus routes 56, 57 or 93. We will try to facilitate ridesharing. If you need a ride, or can provide a ride, please contact Kathy Scheuble.
To help with our planning, please register for the meeting by September 5th.
