Dear Members,
You are warmly invited to attend the most important member meeting of our year — the League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh Annual Meeting on Saturday June 28th from 9:30 AM until Noon.
The meeting will be held in the Conference room in the Lower Level of the Koppers Building:
436 7th Ave
Pittsburgh, PA 15219
If you have questions about parking please email Jenna: info@lwvpgh.org
This gathering is not only a time to conduct vital League business — including voting on our Program, electing new Officers and Directors, and recognizing outstanding service with awards — it’s also a rare opportunity to socialize, connect, and celebrate our shared commitment to democracy.
We plan to finish the meeting at Noon so League members who wish to go to Suzanne Broughton’s Memorial Service are able to attend. The Memorial Service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of North Hills, on Saturday, June 28, at 1 p.m.
Why Your Attendance Matters
We need a quorum to conduct official business, so your presence is essential. Plus, we’re excited to see you in person — something we don’t get to do often enough!
Continental Breakfast at 9:30 AM
We’ll begin the day with a continental breakfast at 9:30 AM, giving everyone a chance to mingle and connect before the meeting begins.
If you are able, we invite you to consider making a donation to help offset the event costs of our meeting. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps sustain the important work of the League.
Be Prepared
To ensure a productive meeting, please review your Annual Meeting Workbook. It contains essential information about the business we’ll discuss and vote on. Please use your membership log in to register.
We look forward to your presence as we reflect on a year of meaningful work and look ahead to what’s next. Let’s celebrate our accomplishments — and each other!
In League.
