About this event
Come together to celebrate Juneteenth at Intermission: Juneteenth, part of the August Wilson Center's artful networking series, where culture and community connect. This edition features a powerful performance by the Legacy Arts Project, blending rhythm, movement, and storytelling rooted in the African diaspora. The evening’s soundtrack will be curated by DJ Nate Da Barber, setting the vibe with a mix of soulful sounds.
Hosting the night are dynamic community voices: Patricia Ford, Director of Programs at Legacy Arts Project; Tené Croom, Chair of Public Affairs, Marketing & Communications for the National Council of Negro Women; and Janitta Scott, Co-Chair of IMPACT Pittsburgh’s External Connections, joined by representatives from the REAL Black Alliance of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. and the League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh. Enjoy delicious bites from Hysyde, our exclusive food vendor for 2025.
